Prepare greenhouses for plant production, fill containers with soil, bring soil into greenhouses, use filling machines, move & space plants, put hangers on baskets, load baskets in trucks and hang in greenhouse ceilings, load trucks for deliveries, bending, stretching & lifting.

The Production Crew basically does anything & everything associated with the production of wholesale plants!

Applicants must be 21 years of age, trustworthy and are not required to have a CDL, but need a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Drivers deliver to landscape contractors & independent garden centers and are expected to have excellent customer service skills.

Trucks are manually loaded & unloaded.

Drivers are expected to unload truck orders with customers.

Most deliveries are within 100 miles of facility and are usually in Maryland, Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia.

Drivers deliver mostly in late April & May and during those months drivers can expect to leave as early as 5:30 am.

When not delivering, drivers are expected to perform jobs/ duties that the greenhouse & production crew perfom.

The Afterschool Crew is a part-time, temporary position, working afternoon shifts.
